The Changeling of the Third Reich · Book II: The Reckoning

Will Vengeance Erase the Horrors of the Holocaust?
The year is 1969. After surviving three Concentration Camps and achieving her lifelong dream of becoming a neurosurgeon in a male-dominated profession, Dr. Bridget Castle was certain that conflict and confrontation were things of the past. Now, having reunited with the brother she thought was lost to her forever, Bridget travels to West Germany at the behest of his physician, despite her fears that once she sets foot back in the country that held her prisoner, claimed her family, and robbed her of her childhood, she won’t be able to contain the white-hot rage that’s been smoldering inside her for decades.
In anticipation of meeting the Nazi who raised her brother, Bridget calculates just how she might unleash her fury on one who embodies everything she despises. But she doesn’t count on just how many ghosts of the past are lurking around each corner. The horrors of the Holocaust that she witnessed firsthand still haunt her, and she intends to hold one of Hitler’s own accountable. As she squares off with the Nazi and reaches the hour of reckoning, will she be willing to trade in all she’s worked for to gain a fleeting taste of revenge?
